ExPix are pleased to announce that BATTLE FOR THE BAY 2014 is now an ExPix partnered event!

It’s been a busy few years for the ExPix crew and a while since we’ve visited the Emerald Isle. So we can’t wait to head off over to Dublin next week to catch up with the Pure Magic gang as they host Battle For The Bay 2014 a Kitesurf and Beach Lifestyle Festival, at Dollymount Strand, Dublin on Sat 24th & Sun 25th May.

With 4 competitions being run during the event;

1st Round of the IKSA (Irish Kitesurfing Association) Freestyle Kitesurf Tour – Freestyle kitesurfers battle it out in this kitesurfing competition to be crowned King or Queen of the Bay!

2nd Round of The KBC Tour (Kite Boarder Cross Tour) - Combining freestyle and racing skills, top kitesurfers compete in a downwind race course whilst jumping floating obstacles.

The Dublin Bay S.U.P. Classic – Part of the Stand Up World Series Waterman League -The best Stand Up Paddle Boarders from around the world and Ireland will compete in individual races, team relay races, a technical, 6km and a 14km Marathon

Mystic Big Air – Mystic rider, Nick Davies will be leading the way as wakeboarders go large in this ‘biggest trick wins’comeptition together with slacklining, demos, taster sessions, trade village, beach volleyball competitions, litter to art workshops, live music & DJ sets, funfair, BBQs, ccoastguard helicopter show and rescue demonstration and late night after parties; it’s sure to be an action packed weekend!
